We’re The Side Hustlers. Just two tired parents trying to make the internet work a bit harder for us. We’re Carla and Lee. Partners in life, parenting, and now business-building too.

By day, we run a digital marketing agency called Koala Digital, which we have grown steadily over the last eight years. We have helped dozens of clients grow their businesses online through content, SEO, social media, and a lot of trial and error. We know the online world. But when we started exploring side hustles for ourselves, we quickly realised this space is a jungle.

There is a lot of noise out there.
Big promises. Fake screenshots. “Earn 10k a month in your sleep” nonsense. And far too many people trying to sell you a dream they have never achieved themselves.

So we decided to approach it differently.

We started testing real side hustles ourselves. Not just researching, actually doing them. Affiliate marketing, UW, selling digital products, uploading Amazon review videos, building niche blogs, trying out income apps. You name it, we have probably tested it.

Some things worked. Some really did not.
But we always shared the honest results, the actual numbers, and what we would do differently next time.

That is what this project is about.
The Side Hustlers is where we document the experiments, share what is real, and help you find what works faster.

This is not a guru site. We are not promising overnight success. We are simply showing up, trying things, and being transparent about the journey.
